How to use
- Load an image by dragging and dropping it, choosing a file, or pasting from the clipboard (Ctrl/Cmd + V). Load multiple images and you can merge them into one later.
- Pick a tool on the left — Mosaic, Blur, Rectangle, Arrow, Text, and more — then drag on the image (or click, for text) to place it. Use the Select tool to click an existing element and move, resize, or delete it.
- Crop, Padding, and Rounded corners apply a whole-image transform based on a selected area or a numeric value. Every action can be undone (Undo) and redone (Redo) at any time.
- When you're done, choose an output format (PNG/JPEG/WebP) and quality, then click "Download image" to save it at the original resolution.
About this tool
The screenshot editor is built specifically for hiding personal information before posting to social media, adding arrows and boxes to explanatory screenshots, and combining multiple screenshots into one image to share. It avoids the complexity of full image editors and focuses on quick touch-ups you can share right away.
Mosaic, blur, rectangle, arrow, and text are kept as vector-like elements you can reselect later to move, resize, or delete — including with the Delete/Backspace key. Crop, padding, rounded corners, and merging images are applied as whole-image transforms, and every action can be undone (Cmd/Ctrl+Z) or redone (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z).
The image is only ever scaled down for on-screen display — the original resolution data is preserved throughout. Exporting always renders at the original resolution when converting to PNG, JPEG, or WebP, so there's no loss of quality. From loading to exporting, your image data is never sent to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Can I adjust a mosaic or arrow after placing it?
Yes. With the Select tool, click an element to drag its handles for moving and resizing, adjust its color, width, or strength from the panel below, or delete it with the Delete/Backspace key.
Can I merge screenshots of different sizes?
Yes. Choose a merge direction (vertical or horizontal) and images with different widths or heights are centered along the cross axis. You can also set the gap and background color between images, and reorder them by dragging the thumbnails.
The corners aren't transparent after rounding them.
If you export as JPEG, which doesn't support transparency, the rounded-off corners will be filled with a solid color instead. Export as PNG or WebP to keep the corners transparent.
Are images uploaded to a server?
No. Loading, editing, and exporting all happen in your browser via the Canvas API, and nothing is ever sent to an external server.
